Cancellation and refunds

Tell us on WhatsApp or by phone with your booking reference (it starts with MT-). The time that counts is when the bus leaves the first pickup.

7 days or more before: we refund everything you paid, or move you to another date for free.

Between 72 hours and 7 days before: we refund half of what you paid, or move you to another date once for free.

Less than 72 hours before, or if you don't turn up: no refund, because the bus, food and stay are already paid for. You can send a friend in your place; just tell us their name and number.

Sometimes the forest department closes a trail, the weather turns dangerous, or too few people sign up. If we cancel, you choose: a full refund, or a free move to another date.

If the plan changes on the day for safety (a swollen stream, a closed road), the Trek Leader's call is final and it doesn't count as a cancellation.

Permits, guides, stays and transport in Nepal are booked weeks ahead and are often non-refundable, so Himalayan treks (like Annapurna Base Camp) follow these rules instead of the ones above:

30 days or more before the trek starts: we refund everything except the registration (slot) amount, or move you to another batch for free.

15 to 29 days before: we refund half of what you paid, or move you to another batch once.

Less than 15 days before, or if you don't turn up: no refund. You can send a friend in your place if their permit can still be arranged.

Flights and trains to and from the start point are yours to book and are not covered; we suggest flexible or refundable tickets.

Online payments go back to the same card, UPI or bank account through Razorpay, usually within 5–7 working days of us starting the refund.

UPI and cash payments are sent back by us to your UPI ID or bank account, usually within 3 working days.
