Privacy

For each trekker: name, mobile number, age, gender, pickup point and food preference. For the person booking: email address, an emergency contact, how often you exercise, and anything you choose to tell us about your health.

For payments: the amount, the date, and the reference Razorpay gives us. If you pay by UPI, the screenshot and transaction number you send. Card and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we never see them.

To run your trek: seat you on the right bus at the right stop, feed you what you eat, reach someone at home in an emergency, and keep you safe on the trail.

To send you booking emails and trek updates on WhatsApp. We don't send marketing unless you ask for it.

To keep accounts, which the law requires.

Only the people at Mysore Trekkers who need it, and only the parts they need: your Trek Leader sees the trekker list and health notes for their batch; whoever checks payments sees payments. Every switch is set by the owner and every change is logged.

Forest departments sometimes need names and ID for permits; we share only what they ask for.

Our service providers, under their own privacy terms: Razorpay (payments) and Zoho (email).

Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Health notes are only used for the trek they were given for.

Ask us to see, correct or delete your details at any time, and we will, except for records we are legally required to keep.

The public site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is the sign-in cookie for our own team's dashboard.
