The long one. Kumara Parvatha starts in thick evergreen forest above Beedahalli, breaks out onto open grassland, and keeps climbing to a rocky summit at 1,712 m with the whole Pushpagiri range at your feet. We go up and come back down the same day, sleep well at the stay, and spend Sunday at Mallalli Falls and Manjarabad Fort on the way home.

From the trail
Pickups across Mysuru
The bus leaves the Suburban Bus Stand at 9:00 PM and works its way across the city. Be at your stop 10 minutes early. We do not wait long, but we never leave anyone behind without a call.
Travelling solo? Women travelling alone board at the Suburban Bus Stand, where the Trek Leader meets you.
Eat before you board. On the road we only stop for tea, coffee and washrooms.

The one rule
We carry back more than we bring.
Every Mysore Trekkers group comes down with a bag of plastic and paper that was not ours. Nobody in the group drops a wrapper, and we are serious about it. Bring a small cloth bag; we will fill it together.
